The first South Devon Earth Futures event will bring together people who are working, or aspiring to work, in nature restoration and climate action.

This event is aimed at early career environmentalists and those looking to meet new people who care about making a difference for the planet.

The evening will begin from 6pm, with an opportunity to meet other attendees over a vegan curry (pre-order by 27th May) served by Canteen in the lovely Mansion courtyard.

At 7pm, we’ll then move upstairs into the Old School Hall of the Mansion, for a series of short talks and stories from people working locally in nature and climate, followed by an opportunity to ask questions and get to know each other.

The event will be hosted by Jazz Austin, and the wonderful speakers will be:

  • Olivia Cresswell, Aquatic Services Manager, Westcountry Rivers Trust
  • Samuel Wrobel, Marine Policy Officer, RSPB
  • Dr Pia Benaud, Research Fellow at Exeter University
  • Sam Manning, Site Manager, Woodland Trust
